- I am 34 years old and I was born in Arkansas. I started my own Christmas decorating and catering company when I was only 19. Three years later, I moved to Dallas, Texas to attend the University of North Texas. While in Dallas, I was a freelance visual designer for many companies including Department 56, Macy’s and Neiman-Marcus. I also decorated Southfork Ranch, home of the television show “DALLAS”. I returned to Arkansas and started my own floral design company, which later branched out to encompass interior and event design. In 2003, I had the honor of being asked to design florals for Rose Bowl Parade floats and I was also chosen as a designer for the 2004 Academy Awards. In 2005, I moved to Las Vegas where I currently live, where I work as an interior, floral and event designer.

I did enjoy! I like how you said that not everything has to match. My own mother-in-law actually harps on this. She purposefully does not match things, but keeps things very nicely symmetrical and it just works :)
